We currently ship within the United States and Canada. Standard shipping is $5.99 (free on orders over $75) and arrives in 5–8 business days. Express is $14.99 and arrives in 2–3 business days. Every piece is handcrafted-to-ship, so allow 1–2 business days before your parcel leaves the atelier.
How do I track my order?+
Use the Track Order page with your order number (it starts with LB-) and the email you used at checkout. You'll see exactly where your piece is in its journey — from confirmation, through the atelier, to delivery.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?+
We accept returns within 30 days on unworn pieces in their original packaging. Email hello@luckybeady.com with your order number to begin. Once we receive the return, your refund is issued to the original payment method within 5–7 days.
Can I exchange for a different piece?+
Of course. Because most pieces are limited series, exchanges depend on availability — email us with the piece you'd like instead and we'll hold it for you while your return travels back.
The Beads & Their Care
What are the beads made of?+
Each bead begins with a wooden core layered in natural Chinese lacquer (大漆) — an art form recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage, dating back over 2,000 years. We embed inlays of opal and mother-of-pearl alongside gold and iridescent foils, then cure and hand-polish every bead to a high gloss. The result is durable, lightweight and hypoallergenic.
How do I care for my bracelet?+
Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid prolonged soaking, spraying perfume directly onto the beads, and abrasive surfaces. Natural lacquer is remarkably resilient — with simple care, its gloss deepens rather than fades.
What size should I choose?+
Every bracelet is strung on elastic stretch cord and fits most wrists, 6–8 inches (15–20 cm). Bead diameter is a matter of presence: 10–11mm wears delicate, 14mm makes a statement. Each product page lists the bead size.
Will my piece look exactly like the photo?+
Very close — but never identical. Each bead is made by hand, and slight variations in the lacquer flow and inlay placement are part of the craft. No two bracelets in the world are quite the same; yours is the only one of its kind.

How does the matching consultation work?+
Our Find Your Match consultation uses Ba Zi (four-pillars) energetics — an ancient system that reads the elemental composition of your birth date, time and place — to suggest pieces whose element brings your chart toward balance. It takes about two minutes, and the reading is yours to keep.
Do I need to believe in it to enjoy the bracelet?+
Not at all. Think of the element as a story your piece carries — a tactile reminder of what you want more of. The craft, the lacquer and the color are reasons enough.
